On a hectic Saturday we dropped in for dinner. Small party of three of us. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. As a starter, the cauliflower fritters, with curry sauce, were superb. Lovely chicken, ham and leek pie to follow and rounded off with a creme brulee and fruit compote. Washed down with a couple of bottles of beautifully smooth Rioja (one just wasn't enough) we returned home slowly but happily.

Our Sunday lunch menu is served from midday to 3.30pm. Walk-in's welcome, reservations recommended. The published menu is a sample as the choices may vary weekly.
